Chopra was born on 18th July, 1982 in Bihar, India to the family of
Capt. Dr. Ashok Chopra and Dr. Madhu Chopra. Both of her parents were doctors
and her family moved frequently while she was young because her father was in
the army. She attended high school for a period of time in the United States
and also attended college in Mumbai, but left when she won the title of Miss
World. Priyanka Chopra is a former Miss World winner who made her acting debut
in 2002. Her first film was named Thamzhan. She played Priya, the love interest
of the film’s main protagonist. She enjoys Indian music and dance; flair for
writing poetry and short stories; reading, especially biographies; and has
worked for a lot of social-welfare programs.
